Day One: Okanagan to Pendleton, Oregon
A fascinating day travelling south to Oregon; with stops at the Osoyoos Duty-Free & Omak for lunch & coffee in Moses Lake. Overnight at the Red Lion Hotel in Pendleton. Hop the shuttle over to the Wildhorse Casino for an evening of gambling fun. Use your "Club Wild" membership card & receive a $10 food voucher with 75 points earned.
Day Two: Pendleton to Wendover, Nevada
Spectacular sights as we cross the Blue Mountains & journey through southern Idaho into Nevada. Our lunch & first gambling stop is at Cactus Pete's Casino in Jackpot, Nevada. Relax as we continue over H-D Summit into Wells, Pequop Summit & Silver Zone Pass into Wendover. This remarkable border town was established in 1920 with West Wendover in Nevada & Wendover in Utah. Settle into your hotel for 4 nights.
Day Three: Wendover
A day to relax, take in the local sights or try your luck any of the five casinos using the complimentary shuttle.
Day Four: Scenic Tour to Salt Lake City
Weather permitting, enjoy a fabulous drive into Salt Lake City, capital of Utah and site of the 2002 Winter Olympics. Bring your camera as sights include Temple Square, Mormon Tabernacle, State Capital Building, the Great Salt Lake and Salt Lake Desert. Our day also includes shopping prior to our return to Wendover. ( Minimum 20 passengers required)
Day Five: Wendover & Side Tour
Enjoy an optional visit to a local area attraction, then return to the hotel to enjoy the final day in Wendover.
Day Six: Wendover to Baker City, Oregon
Back on board for the return trip to Baker City with a final gambling stop in Jackpot & a scenic stop at the magnificent Perrine Bridge. A wine & cheese social at the Sunridge Inn with your driver and fellow passengers ends a perfect day.
Day Seven: Baker to Okanagan
Our adventure to Wendover draws to a close as we return to the Okanagan. Bid farewell to new-found friends as you depart with wonderful Sun Fun holiday memories.
