Day One: Kamloops / Okanagan to Ferndale, Wash.

Enjoy the sights as you travel the Coquihalla highway to the Sumas border crossing with a coffee stop in Merritt. Purchase your duty -free, then continue into Washington to the Silver Reef Hotel Casino Spa in time for a fabulous buffet lunch. Join us this afternoon for a short drive to Fairhaven or remain at the hotel to enjoy the amenities until the rooms are ready later this afternoon. Fairhaven is located in the historic district of Bellingham & offers beautiful views of the Bellingham harbor. This quaint area has a variety of specialty shops, boutiques, restaurants & galleries. Return to Silver Reef and unpack for 3 glorious nights in a luxurious room & enjoy the state-of-the-art spa, several dining choices & a Las Vegas style casino. Enjoy a delicious buffet dinner this evening followed by gaming fun in the casino.

Day Two: Skagit Tulips & La Conner

April is host to the annual Skagit Valley Tulip Festival & acres of tulips in full bloom are on display as far as the eye can see. (Bloom dates are according to 'Mother Nature'). This afternoon is spent exploring the quaint 19th Century fishing port of La Conner. With many historic buildings, galleries, museums, bait shops & docks, your visit will be an intriguing experience. Return to Silver Reef for a relaxing evening enjoying the amenities of the hotel.

Day Three: Lynden & Shopping

Relax this morning then board the coach for some shopping in over 100 stores at Bellis Fair Mall in Bellingham. Visit the nearby town of Lynden this afternoon. It's Dutch heritage is evident throughout with a 72-foot windmill serving as its anchor to the downtown community. Visit the unique shops or you may want to visit the Lynden Pioneer Museum, home to the Fred Polinder Buggy Collection, the largest publicly displayed collection west of the Mississippi! Life-size recreations of a pioneer homestead & historic business fronts provide a realistic look into the life of turn-of-the-century Lynden. The museum also houses the only regular exhibit on the development of transportation from Horse to Horse Power (Admission is not included). Return to Silver Reef for another fabulous buffet & your final evening.
