Native Americans, the first Arizonians, are a major influence in everyday life. This is evident as we continue through the Navajo Reservation into Monument Valley, perhaps the most photographed landscape in America. The isolated red mesas and buttes have been filmed and photographed countless times and because of this may seem quite familiar. Following lunch, embark on a guided tour into Monument Valley where a knowledgeable Navajo guide will share their culture and how it is influenced by the area.Overnight in Kayenta at the Wetherill Inn.

More than 2000 arches, red rock canyons, spires, fins & balancing rocks highlight our afternoon. Moab is frequently used for movie settings & was the scene for several novels by Zane Grey. Enjoy your evening in this picturesque city with dinner & relaxation at the Aarchway Inn.
