Known as "Little Norway" the quaint village of Poulsbo was settled in 1892 by Norwegian farmers & fishermen who likened the fjord-cut landscape to their homeland. Enjoy the ambiance of Front Street with dozens of colorful shops offering everything from Scandinavian gifts to fine art, fashion, antiques, bakeries & Marine Museum. Day 3: Suquamish to Ferndale

Surrounded by 236 miles of saltwater shoreline, spectacular views of mountains & water are yours from every vantage point as we travel along Kitsap Peninsula from Suquamish to the National Historic 1850's lumber mill town of Port Gamble. Cross the longest floating bridge in the world located in a saltwater tidal basin, the 1961 Hood Canal Bridge, linking Kitsap & Olympic Peninsulas. A diverse blend of natural wonders continue into the historical seaside town of Port Townsend. Enjoy a self-guided walking tour of this 1851 Victorian seaport. Pass scenic shoreline vistas & the notable towns of Coupeville, the oldest town in the state & Oak Harbour, the largest town on the island. Our journey continues across the magnificent Deception Pass Bridge of Fidalgo Island. One of the Pacific Northwest wonders, the bridge is 976 ft in length & 180 ft above the the strait that connects Skagit Bay (Puget Sound) with the Strait of Juan de Fuca.
