November 24: Okanagan to Berlin
With great anticipation, we depart the Okanagan this morning travelling via the Coquihalla Hwy to Vancouver. This evening settle in for our overnight transatlantic flight to Berlin, German via Frankfurt.
November 25: Berlin, Germany
* Dinner
We arrive into Berlin mid-afternoon, where our private coach and German guide await to greet us. Following the transfer to the hotel, enjoy the remainder of the day relaxing, shaking off jetlag or stroll through Berlin and visit the nearby Berlin Christmas Market. Gather this evening for a welcome reception and dinner.
November 26: Berlin, Germany

This morning become familiar with the vibrant city of Berlin with a four hour city tour including its major and historical sites. Your local tour guide will show you sights such as the 1905 neo-Baroque Berlin Cathedral, the bomb-damaged tower of Kaiser Wilhelm Memorial Church, Brandenburg Gate, Reichstag, the "Unter den Linden" government district and remains of the Berlin Wall. Following lunch on your own, the afternoon is free for you to explore Berlin at your own pace. May we recommend a visit to the Museum Island that includes the Pergamon Museum or the National Gallery. Or, make a return visit to the Christmas Market again. Free evening tonight.
November 27: Berlin to Dresden, Germany

Departing Berlin, we drive through farming country of former East Germany to Dresden, often referred to as "The Florence of the Elbe". Along the way, your tour guide will give a presentation on the 40 years of Separation and the Peaceful Revolution of 1989 which led into the Reunification of Germany in 1990. Badly damaged by Allied bombing in 1945, Dresden has now been fully restored to its Baroque splendor. Our afternoon tour will introduce us to the magnificent architecture of the Semper Opera, the Church of our Lady and the Zwinger Palace as well provide us with a better understanding of the works of Friedrich Schiller and Richard Wagner. Later, we have free time to visit the Striezelmarket, the oldest Christmas Market in the world, dating from 1434 where we may have a chance to taste the biggest Christmasstollen(4 tons). Dinner and overnight in Dresden.
November 28: Ore Mountains

A day trip will bring us to the nearby Ore Mountains, one of Germany's best kept secrets and home to all that we hold sacred in traditional Christmas lore and decorations. Here, we will find anything and everything we might imagine to decorate our Christmas tree or our home. We will visit factories and outlets, as well as one of the famous Advent concerts at the local church, beautifully decorated with Christmas ornaments. This region is most popular with German visitors during the Advent celebrations. Back to Dresden for a free evening.
November 29: Dresden to Prague, Czech Republic
* Buffet Breakfast and Dinner
In the morning, enjoy a scenic drive along the so-called Saxon Switzerland, cross the German-Czech border and continue through the Czech countryside to the beautifully preserved Capital of Prague. Our local guide will join us this afternoon for a walking visit to the Old Town with its very beautiful Christmas Market. On our walking tour, our guide will show us the Teyn Church, Wenceslas Square, the Astronamical clock, St. Nicholas Cathedral and the Old Town Hall, as well as the famous Charles Bridge with its statues and wonderful views of the Castle. We complete our evening with a short classical concert and dinner.
November 30: Prague
* Buffet Breakfast and Lunch
After breakfast, continue our Prague sightseeing tour with the huge Prague Castle Hradschin where we see Cloister Strahov including the library, Loreto Pilgrimage Church, St. Vitus Cathedral, Vlatislav Hall and the Golden Lane. Following our included lunch in a typical Czech restaurant, the remainder of the afternoon is at your leisure, with ample time to explore the Christmas Market and all that the Czech Capital of Prague has to offer. Overnight in Prague.
December 1: Prague to Munich, Germany

We leave Prague behind this morning and head west, returning to Germany. Spend the day exploring Regensburg, one of the oldest towns in Germany, with a beautiful Christmas Market around the Cathedral. A short drive in the afternoon brings us to Munich where we will spend the next 2 nights.
December 2: Munich
* Buffet Breakfast & Farewell Dinner
A local guide takes us to the sights of Bavaria's capital, the Nymphenburg Palace, Marienplatz, Frauenkirche and the Olympic Stadium. The afternoon offers free time to visit the Munich Christmas Market and to explore Munich on your own. This evening we celebrate the past ten days, sharing our stories and memories at our Farewell Dinner.
December 3: Munich to Vancouver

Our fascinating journey draws to a close this morning as we catch our flight to Vancouver. Arriving early this afternoon, we are met at the airport by our transportation for the return home, following a trip of a lifetime.
